Summer Vacation Part 4

Day 6 Tuesday 14 Jul

We left Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday and spent about two hours driving to Bath.  Bath was definitely one of my favorite places on the trip. It was AWESOME. Bath is a well preserved Roman site that was used for public bathing. In addition, there is a museum displaying the findings from the Roman Bath. It was interesting seeing the hot springs, as you could actually see the bubbling water.

This is the Bath Abbey, founded in the 7th century.

After a great day at Bath, we got back in the car and spent another hour of driving to Stonehenge. It was extremely windy but we finally got a good picture.
