More views of Texas

"If you want clean water you have to get it out of a windmill." ~ Benjamin

This is very common in downtown San Angelo. A street with NO lines whatsoever. It's really just a guessing game sometimes.

Leddy will make you home made boots. Seriously?

This is a grocery store that looks like it's been hit by a tornado. I think they were too lazy to fix it. People still shop there anyway.

It took forever to decide which scanner we wanted. Well, Benjamin was pondering and I was capturing the moment :)

Texas Ghostbusters

Here are some highlights from the weekend. At Best Buy we see a van with this on the back. It says "Be very quiet... we're hunting ghost". Shouldn't it say ghosts...anyway. It's the freaking Texas Ghostbusters!!! They have a website?? http://www.tprt.org/ check it out or not...if you dare!

Later we met up with a friend from Fayetteville who is stationed in Del Rio, which is about 3 hours away. After leaving Buffalo Wild Wings, we see this truck:

This. is. a. Texas. truck.

Also, guys in cowboy hats are unavoidable in Texas!

We have 130 days (not including weekends) until we leave San Angelo. It's pretty sad we are already counting down the days until we leave this tiny place. Also, just two days ago we saw actual tumbleweed in the street! Are you kidding me? We really are in Texas.

I just recently started working at the Child Development Center on base and Benjamin is starting block 3 of school (There are around 21 blocks).

New Apartment

The movers got to Texas super quick. We spent hours unpacked and putting our things were we wanted them. Benjamin seemed to enjoy it. In all of the excitement of seeing our belongings he said, "It's like Christmas...but I already know what I'm getting!" WOW!!
Here are some before and afters :) Hope you enjoy!

Don't mess with Texas...or something like that!

Our first "big" move led us to San Angelo, Texas. Apparently, Texans love themselves! They love Texas and everything Texan. Benjamin and I first met up in San Antonio were we saw Texas-shaped waffles. Are you kidding me?

Our first few days in San Angelo were pretty interesting. San Angelo is about half the size of Fayetteville, North Carolina. That in itself is pretty sad! Here are a few pictures from the trip to San Angelo.

This is a view from the hotel we stayed out in San Antonio, TX:
