"What did you do this weekend?"
Me: "Oh we went to France for the weekend"...I mean who else could say that?!
I had to go back to work on Thursday and Friday after our awesome vacation. As soon as I got off work it was off to Paris for the weekend. We left at 3:45 and started to make our way to France. We drove to Dover and got on the ferry, ferry took us to Calais, Calais to Paris. We arrived at our hotel at 12:30 our time (1:30 French time) in the morning. It doesn't matter how late it was because you could see the eiffel tower from the hotel!! For those of you that don't know, I LOVE the eiffel tower!

Our second day in France, we did the whole eiffel tower thing. We got to actually go up on the tower which was awesome except for the whole windy thing. I didn't want to go to the very top but was convinced once I realized there was nothing to do while I was waiting for the others to get back.

We also went to the Louvre. It was a massive museum!! There was so much to see and I think we only covered 1/4 of the museum.

On Sunday, we went to Notre Dame and then it was off to the UK. It was very strange waking up in Paris on Sunday, knowing that we had to be at work in the morning in another country.
We drove to Calais and got on the ferry, ferry took us to Dover, Dover back to home.
